Orbital Ride

Lost in space unable to steer, your only hope is to use the planets' orbits to find a wormhole back home! Also, you're a hamster and will collect all the cheese you can on the way.

This is a game I worked on for months, trying all kinds of things (most of them not featured in this version), but never got to a point that it was good enough to release it commercially. So I eventually moved to other projects, though it still holds a special place in my heart and I do want to come back and finish it, eventually. Unfortunately the code is a real mess and I would have to rewrite it from scratch. But maybe, some day I'll find the time, because I still think it's quite fun and the Chris' graphics look amazing!

Info:

• Use your Boost and the planets gravity to navigate your ship
• But watch out: Boosting heats the engines!
• Overheated engines need to cool down before they can be used again
• Collect all satellites in a level to find the wormhole
• Fly into the wormhole to get to the next level
• Collect Cheese to score
• You have 3 lives
